Today I got super live fresh crab from the market. So i steamed it and took out only its meat to make this dish, Crab Meat Lao Spicy Sauce. Now it's time to enjoy with sticky rice, so good:). Here is my best recipe to share:
Step 1. Steam the crabs for about 20 minutes, then remove them and carve out only its meat.
Step 2. Roast chili, red shallot, and garlic until they become soft and their color turn brown.
Step 3. Use a mortar and pestle to pound the roasted chili, red shallots, garlic, and crab meat. Add fermented fish sauce (padek), fish sauce, and MSG. Smash it roughly. Then taste it and add the green onion and coriander. Ready to serve with sticky rice and steam vegetables. Zap!
